The role the business development executive will be focused on closing new business. You will plan and prioritize business development activities to achieve revenue goals and sales targets for defined regions. You will develop and implement innovative commercial strategies to maximise results and reach challenging targets. Ideally, you will leverage existing industry contacts to increase siteminder’s client base and brand coverage in the assigned territory. What you’ll do client acquisition: create new opportunities and upsell current customers. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from outreach to demo and closing. Achieving sales kpis and targets: work towards daily, weekly and monthly targets and finalise all sales in a timely manner. Presentation and negotiation: prepare accurate quotes and develop and present proposals to clients. Negotiate contracts as required, balancing client value with siteminder’s margins. Crm maintenance: maintain accurate records of your activities in siteminder’s crm system. Client feedback: provide feedback to the product team to help inform product improvements. Partner management: work with local industry groups and travel associations to promote siteminder’s products and brand. Attend key functions and events, with occasional travel to client locations.
