what you'll be doing:
• develop robust manufacturing processes and detailed lors for new programs.
• lead cost estimation activities during quotations, including capital planning, tooling, layouts, and process flows.
• participate in dfa/dfm design reviews for customer and internal development projects.
• implement equipment and facility strategies to ensure process capability at the zacatecas site.
• support development and deployment of capital investment plans and projects.
• write and maintain standard manufacturing and quality documentation (pfmea, functional safety, etc.).
• lead best practice sharing for global manufacturing and assembly initiatives.
• coordinate with cross-functional teams: engineering, supply chain, quality, and finance.
what we're looking for:
• bachelor's degree in engineering or technology.
• 7–8 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, capital equipment procurement, or related fields.
• strong knowledge of industrial, automotive, or electrical manufacturing environments.
• experience with electric motor manufacturing (copper winding, soldering, welding).
• understanding of statistics as applied to manufacturing and assembly.
• willingness to work extended hours and travel domestically and internationally as needed.
bonus points if you have:
• hands-on experience with both low and high-volume production environments.
• familiarity with automation, machining, and advanced welding processes.
• experience developing long-range manufacturing strategies across global sites.
