Responsibilities
* develop and maintain short- and long-term demand forecasts at the sku and style level using sales trends, seasonality, and customer orders.
* collaborate with sales, product development, and production teams to align forecast with market demand and factory capabilities.
* generate weekly and monthly planning reports to support capacity planning and line balancing across sewing, cutting, and embellishment areas.
* coordinate raw material requirements with procurement to ensure timely availability of fabrics, trims, and labels.
* monitor and adjust forecasts in real‑time based on changes in customer orders or market signals.
* support production scheduling by translating demand plans into cut ticket releases and wip (work‑in‑progress) tracking.
* maintain planning data in erp or mrp systems (e.g., netsuite, excel, or other tools).
* analyze forecast accuracy and lead time performance to drive continuous improvement in otif (on time in full) delivery rates.
* assist in evaluating vendor capacity and identifying bottlenecks across internal and external manufacturing partners.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, industrial engineering, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in demand planning, preferably in apparel or consumer goods manufacturing.
* knowledge of cut-and-sew operations, bill of materials (bom), and production routings.
* proficient in excel, erp/mrp systems (netsuite experience preferred), and data visualization tools.
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and organized.
* ability to work cross-functionally with sourcing, production, and sales teams.
* bilingual (english/spanish) preferred but not required.
