* process usa weekly/bi-weekly payroll using kronos, ukg, peoplesoft, sap, and adp systems.
* review and validate payroll data, including earnings, deductions, benefits, and tax adjustments.
* manage online paychecks, refunds, garnishments, and third-party reporting.
* ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including 401k and fica updates.
* reconcile payroll reports, uncashed checks, and year-end balances.
* communicate payroll deadlines and updates to hr and cross-functional teams.
* support audits, internal reviews, and year-end payroll reporting.
* provide excellent customer service to zf plants and employees regarding payroll inquiries.
your profile as hr ops us payroll accountant:
* degree in accounting, administration, or finance.
* 3–4 years of payroll processing experience, preferably with usa payroll.
* 80–90% bilingual proficiency in english and spanish.
* strong analytical, problem-solving, and internal control skills.
* proficient in peoplesoft, sap, qad, and ms office.
* high ethical standards and attention to compliance.
* ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
