Job overview:
we are seeking a results-driven professional to promote and sell spacer fabrics across mexico, central america, and south america.
this role is focused on developing new business opportunities within the automotive and technical textiles markets, driving sales growth, and building long-lasting customer partnerships.
key responsibilities:
1. business development & sales:
* determine key customer targets in the target regions.
* promote innovative products to new customers and market segments.
* serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to each individual customer.
2. customer engagement:
* build and maintain trusted relationships with purchasing, engineering, and design teams.
* conduct regular meetings and provide detailed reports and action plans.
* collaborate with global sales teams to ensure alignment with international platforms.
3. regional travel:
* travel regularly across mexico.
* travel to central and south america quarterly or as needed to support business growth.
4. project & account management:
* manage customer rfqs, assess feasibility, and coordinate internally with manufacturing.
* provide accurate pricing quotes within company guidelines.
* submit internal orders and work closely with the apqp team to manage program launches.
* support quality initiatives and compliance procedures.
