We are supporting a global manufacturing organization in the search for a plant controller jr to contribute to the financial operation of one of its key sites in mexico.this role is designed for a hands-on finance specialist who thrives in plant environments, working closely with operations to ensure financial accuracy, cost control, and strong business decision-making.the position offers high visibility within the organization and direct impact on operational performance, profitability, and continuous improvement initiatives.key responsibilities:- own and execute plant financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance- lead month-end close activities, including variance analysis and cost performance tracking- monitor and control manufacturing costs, including standard cost, boms, and cost centers- partner with operations to analyze productivity, efficiency, and cost-saving opportunities- develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial projections for the plant- ensure strong internal controls and compliance with corporate and statutory requirements- support audits (internal and external) and ensure readiness of financial data- provide financial insights and recommendations to plant leadership for decision-makingrequired qualifications:- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.- 5+ years of experience in controlling/finance within manufacturing environments.- strong experience in plant finance, cost accounting, and operational analysis.- proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.- advanced english proficiency (written and verbal) required.- strong knowledge of erp systems (sap preferred).- advanced excel skills and data analysis capabilities.- experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing.job offer:- monthly salary: mxn 55,*,000 (gross), depending on experience and qualifications.- benefits: above statutory requirements.- work model: plant-based role with strong on-site presence and close collaboration with operations.
