we are looking for* *a *network engineer *to work with our global client in *mexico* *for a fully remote opportunity*.
*responsibilities*:
- undertake an assessment of the client dc infrastructure.
client best practices will be used as a reference.
- the following technologies are involved:
- switching
- routing protocols: eigrp, bgp
- ospf
- bgp
- route redistribution
- mpls
- vrf
- vpc
- cisco nexus technologies
- fhrp
- dynamic vpn
- sdwan
- most of the infra is comprised by cisco networking devices.
- documentation of network systems, visio drawings, implementation plans, and handoff documentation.
- document activities in progress via weekly status reports, incident reports, logs, etc.
*requirements*:
- bilingual english/spanish
- proven experience working with the technologies involved:
- switching
- routing protocols: eigrp, bgp
- ospf
- bgp
- route redistribution
- mpls
- vrf
- vpc
- cisco nexus technologies
- fhrp
- dynamic vpn
- sdwan
- routing protocols: eigrp, bgp
- switching
- experience in network engineering, and troubleshooting
- hands-on experience with cisco ios / nxos and related technologies
- good communication skills both spoken and written
- strong interpersonal skills.
- excellent team player.
