the hris specialist is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and support of the human resources information systems (hris), including adp workforce now (wfn), talent acquisition (ta), and internal corporate hris. This role ensures data integrity, supports hr processes, and provides reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about optimizing hr systems and processes.


your main missions

* system administration & maintenance
* maintain and update employee records in the hris system (e.g., adp).
* ensure data integrity by performing regular audits and troubleshooting discrepancies.
* manage system configurations, user permissions, and security protocols.
* data entry & management
* enter and update employee data including new hires, terminations, promotions, and compensation changes.
* create and maintain job profiles, organizational structures, and reporting relationships.
* support payroll and benefits teams with accurate and timely data updates.
* reporting & analytics
* generate standard and ad hoc reports for hr metrics such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism.
* provide data analysis to support strategic hr initiatives and compliance reporting.
* maintain dashboards and kpis for internal stakeholders.
* user support & training
* assist employees and managers with system access, navigation, and troubleshooting.
* train hr staff and end-users on system functionality and best practices.
* develop and maintain user guides and training materials.
* process improvement & projects
* collaborate with hr and it teams on system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
* identify opportunities to streamline hr processes through automation and improved system use.
* participate in hris-related projects and initiatives.
* compliance & security
* ensure hris practices comply with data privacy laws and internal policies.
* support audits by providing accurate and timely system data.
* monitor system access and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
* payroll support
* serve as a backup for payroll processing and related data entry tasks.


your profile

* associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or experience in related field preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in hris administration, preferably with adp workforce now and time
* strong understanding of hr processes and data management.
* proficiency in microsoft excel and hr reporting tools.
* excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
* ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
