Role purpose:
to provide production support, ensuring the quality, continuity, and, where appropriate, the resilience of the service, offering optimal recovery times in the event of any disruption.
main activities:
- provide support in the identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the it service.
- provide support on weekends and holidays according to the needs of the service and the established roster within the department.
assume new duties as new needs arise within the service.
qualifications:
- extensive knowledge of as400, ile cl, sql and ifs.
- experience reviewing cobol code to identfy root cause of errors reported in incdidents and possible solutions.
- experience reviewing logs to identify root cause of errors reported in incidents and possible solutions.
- interest in investigating, responding to and resolving incidents.
- interest in learning new technologies.
- positive attitude and willingness to take on new roles and work as part of a team.
- willingness to work in hybrid environment, according to the needs of the service.
- ability to clearly understand and be understood in a conversation in english.
