location: rural communities in the northern part of the state of guanajuato, mexico.

job description:
1. training and support for community health promoters in the northern area of guanajuato.
2. training will be done following the curriculum of the courses prepared by concern america, adapting the material to the situation in the region.
3. support in the creation of new educational materials for the communities.
4. community visits working alongside the health promoter practitioners.
5. meetings with the program coordinator.
6. constantly communicate with the director of field programs in the office in california, usa and write quarterly reports on the work being done.
7. support and accompany the inventory process of the medicine.
qualities we are looking for:
1. extensive medical training, having diverse experiences.
2. experience in public health or community health.
3. experience in teaching and training with an interest in community work.
4. willingness to adapt to the changing needs of the program and learn new concepts.
5. ability to work as part of a team and strong organizational skills.
6. fluency in spanish and an appreciation of cultural diversity.
7. training and/or experience in popular adult education would be important.
8. minimum commitment of 2 years.
9. flexibility to travel not only within guanajuato but to support concern america's other health programs.
10. humility, flexibility, maturity, a sense of humor, responsibility, and the ability to motivate.
