purpose of the role

as buchanan's senior brand manager, your main responsibility will be to promote the brand image & brand sales growth through the creation and execution of brand strategies, brought to life through advertising, packaging, communications, pricing and promotional activities across all media.

in addition, this role needs to be able to operate and perform the following:

* develop and apply high knowledge of the business & financials.
* consistent alignment between reserve strategy and innovation portfolio
* consistently deliver great performance.
* ability to encourage and influence others within the business.
* build extraordinary relations with those who work internally and externally. Multifunctional and multi-market team working.
* capable of challenging and influencing thinking across a broad range of collaborators
* lead the team; work with them and in their development. Support them so that they can perform at their best.
* delivery of a successful core (with focus in std and dlx) business strategy (based on brand health and profitability/ sales) short and long term.
* delivery of successful brand strategy (based on brand health and profitability). Short term and long-term brand strategies.
* responsible for game planning developing and execution. Brand communication strategy, atl as btl
* influence key collaborators to improve business opportunities and alliances. Lead global brand relationship, influencing them to align the market strategy.
* make cultural impact with the brand equity through brand’s passion points.

qualifications & experience required:

* proficient numerical skills
* bachelor in ba, or similar.
* strong critical thinking capabilities
* strong leadership capabilities.
* proactive
* strong teamwork skills
* previous experience as sr brand manager
