Responsabilitiesdevelop and implement quality standards and control systems.development of all the necessary documentation, trainings and control of the quality system.develop and update as required all quality and metrology processes workflows.implementation and control of the iso-9001 at the nlec.implementation and control of the iso-17025 at the nlec.implementation and control of the nlec’s quality manual.responsible to attend nonconformities from external and internal clients and coordinate corrective actions.responsible to obtain certifications and/or accreditations related to quality and metrology.support the engineering team with quality documentation, checklists, audits and other related requirements from external agencies to comply with audits, certifications or accreditations.deliver all updated quality and calibration documentation required for agencies audits and/or certifications of the required nlec test areas.support and actively participate in all projects such as npi, cr, or any other. Providing all the deliverables for each project on time and complete from a quality perspective.inspect and audit lab processes to ensure quality standards are met. Communicate findings with corresponding leaders and management.collaborating with management to develop and implement controls and improvements on the nlec quality system.control of documents, car’s, scar’s and pars, internal audits, deviations, process documents, etc.monitor and analyze quality performance and its associated kpis.quality continuous improvement by continually challenging the results obtained in the quality kpi’s. Through evaluation, analysis, and teamwork to achieve the established goals.coomunicate the performance and results of the quality system and kpis with the personnel involved at the nlec processes.responsible for maintaining the administration of the equipment used in the nlec, recording, and communicating events of loss, misuse, or failure of metering equipment.responsible to administrate and maintain an effective inventory of backup measuring instruments to replace damaged or out of calibration equipment.responsible for ensuring that only calibrated equipment is being used in nlec testing activities.responsible for providing training in the use of measurement equipment when required.responsible of maintaining an updated database of all equipment used in the nlec for testing purposes.participate in external calibration services bidding process.coordinate all external calibration services of the corresponding nlec equipment.requirementsbachelor’s degree from accredited school in industrial or mechatronics engineering1-2 years of engineering experience in quality and/or metrology.good english written and verbal levels, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skillsproficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as ms office suite.problem solving oriented following the a3 methodology, six sigma tools or other, developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.working knowledge of statistical tools and techniques.ability to apply logical or scientific principles of thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.demonstrated ability to work well with others in a matrix team environment.experience in reading and interpreting design documentation, to comprehend electrical schematics, diagrams and mechanical drawings.
