functional objectives:
1. ensure production on time and at the lowest possible cost.
2. maximize resources and production.

responsibilities:
* monitor current production levels and provide detailed plans, ensuring the flow of raw materials and low levels of obsolescence for work on the production floor in accordance with demand and quality standards.
* analyze the proposed production plan with buyers, the plant manager, and the production manager.
* coordinate the production workflow.
* plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum throughput and minimum delays.
* ensure correct demand in sap so that the system determines the required quantity of raw materials.
* control and maintain skus in the system.
* create a production schedule in sap.
* demand planning.
* manage inventory levels.
* generate a report in sap of non-moving and/or slow-moving part numbers.
* maintain updated records in sap: inventories, production orders, purchase orders, exception messages, and daily invoicing.
* generate, control, and manage forecasts, demands, sales orders, and production orders.
* review demand planning with customer service.
* present compliance with the production schedule and daily production plan.
* maximize the level of service to external customers.
* coordinate work teams to achieve objectives.
* understand the quality policy and quality objectives.
* perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with the documented quality system.
* recommend and implement improvements to activities and processes within the quality system.

education and professional knowledge:
* bachelor's degree in logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
* 3 years of work experience in a similar position; experience with electrical components is desirable.
