Head of Technical Services

Your Tasks
Job Objective
Manage the activities of the Technical Services department to meet KPIs and realize the HELLA leadership model across all four dimensions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the organization of Technical Services in terms of headcount, budgeting, employee development, training, and technological improvements to enhance competitiveness.
- Control and supervise methods, processes, and manufacturing techniques in collaboration with stakeholders. Support strategic planning and ongoing operations to optimize performance and achieve capital expenditure targets.
- Monitor market trends and technological advancements to keep services, processes, and resources up to date.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment and resources to ensure smooth production, adhering to schedules and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate medium- and long-term capital investments and planning.
- Design and optimize material and resource creation and commissioning, considering available technical and human resources.
Leadership
1. Deploy employees based on their qualifications, providing targeted instruction and support to fulfill tasks.
2. Guide and support employees in their functions.
3. Manage hiring processes, team performance, evaluations, and qualification development.
4. Lead employees towards target achievement through effective delegation, trust, and development, fostering a culture of growth and recognition.
Your Qualifications
The candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of all core specialties within Technical Services to lead and align technical functions with operational and business goals.
- Experience in mold workshop operations, expertise in plastic injection molding, and a strong background in automation/industrialization projects and infrastructure management.
- Advanced English skills.
- Expertise in specialized lighting technologies and their applications in industrial and manufacturing environments.
