main responsibilities
* we are seeking a seasoned sales professional to manage sales strategies, including commercial campaigns and company image coordination with technical services for assigned territories and the swine business, ensuring customer value and profitability.
* the successful candidate will build high-performing sales teams into broader, multi-product/program territories with ongoing performance reviews and quarterly assessments.
* this role involves developing and executing sales plans for assigned territories, contributing to strategic planning processes.
* collaboration with technical service, marketing, logistics, and customer service teams is essential to support assigned territories.
requirements
* applicants must have a degree in dvm, agronomist zootechnician (animal husbandry) engineer or equivalent, with at least 8 years of commercial experience in animal protein production related to nutrition products additives. A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales is required, and expertise in other sales areas within the industry is desirable.
* detailed knowledge of animal protein markets and food industries for assigned areas is essential. Applicants may be recognized experts in one or more species.
* thorough understanding of animal nutrition and health businesses for assigned areas is necessary.
* proven success in account management and business development is crucial.
