Job title: project manager e-system
we are seeking a seasoned project manager to lead high-profile internal and customer-facing projects within the powertrain cooling business unit.
the ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project and program management within the automotive industry, delivering exceptional results, meeting milestones, and exceeding expectations.
* manage key internal projects aimed at driving profitability through cost reduction and vave plans.
* lead customer projects from rfq phase through successful serial production launch, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams.
* act as the primary liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, facilitating open communication and resolving any issues that may arise.
* drive project timelines to meet internal and external milestones, while mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
* collaborate closely with engineering, quality, operations, c&s, and supply chain teams to achieve project goals.
* identify and escalate major risks to senior management, ensuring prompt action is taken to mitigate any potential impact on the project.
requirements:
* bachelor's degree in business administration, electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
* 7–10 years of experience in project development and customer projects, preferably within the automotive industry.
* strong knowledge of cross-functional project coordination, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
* results-driven, proactive, and highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
* fluent in english, with additional languages being an asset.
* availability to travel frequently for project-related activities.
* strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
desirable qualifications:
* experience in powertrain cooling or electrification projects.
* advanced degree in a relevant engineering or business field.
* familiarity with vave methodology and automotive quality systems.
