About the Role:
Are you a strategic thinker with strong Agile expertise and deep knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance domain?
We're looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our team, working closely with leaders in SaaS-based insurance solutions.
In this role, you'll serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-impact products that transform how insurers operate in the digital era.
What You'll Do:
- Act as the primary liaison between product management and engineering teams.
- Communicate product vision, goals, and priorities clearly to ensure shared understanding.
- Own and manage the product backlog — prioritize stories, define epics, and ensure backlog items are ready for development.
- Lead sprint and release planning, and represent the voice of the customer in agile ceremonies.
- Make business decisions that drive product value, balancing user needs and technical feasibility.
- Participate in daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
- Review deliverables at the end of each sprint and provide go/no-go decisions.
- Provide transparency through regular progress reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Work with end users to understand business impact and support defect prioritization and resolution.
- Mentor junior product owners and support agile team success.
Key Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in product management or product ownership in software engineering environments.
- Strong domain knowledge in P&C; Insurance (Property & Casualty).
- Deep understanding of Agile methodology, sprint planning, and estimating techniques.
- Experience managing medium to complex projects and product lifecycles.
- Familiarity with continuous integration, test-driven development, and backlog grooming.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
- English level: Advanced (collaboration with global teams required).
