- closely collaborate with the web development team to ensure seo best practices are followed adequately throughout the website content.
- work with the editorial team to drive seo in content creation.
- collaborate with the marketing department to manage and align the seo strategy.
- perform ongoing keyword research, discovery, and optimization for new relevant keywords to use throughout the company website and marketing materials.
- research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
- create and execute a link-building strategy.
- adjust website architecture, content, and linking to improve seo positions for target keywords.
- determine measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts.
- monitor daily performance metrics with seo tools like google analytics to understand seo strategy performance.
*qualifications and skills*
- bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or work-related experience
- minimum of two years experience in seo/sem
- proven track record of successful seo and sem campaigns
- experience with keyword research, on-page seo, and optimizing web content
- proficiency in seo tools such as google analytics, semrush, and moz
- strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving
- excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- familiarity with wordpress and basic knowledge of html/css
- understanding of seo best practices and algorithm updates
