key job responsibilities
understanding how all elements of the voice and mobile experience ecosystem work together and developing qa approaches that fit the overall strategy.
develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plans
efficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our products
finding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
work with software development engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented
ensure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionals
evaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.
about the team
as the qae on the amazon music internationalization qa team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can ask for what they want to hear in amazon music unlimited, prime music or ad-supported free tier in international markets. You will lead the efforts to ensure that the quality of the amazon music experience is the best.
the ideal candidate is interested in being part of an agile team, passionate about innovating for customers, and has a demonstrable track record of success in delivering new features and products. A commitment to team work, hustle, and strong communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are absolute requirements.
you should be a person that pays close attention to details and is driven to deliver solutions that delight customers.
basic qualifications
* 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
* experience in automation testing
* experience in manual testing
* experience as qa lead on medium to large sized projects
* experience of using test case management tools (e.g. Test rail, testlink) and issue management tools (jira)
* experience testing mobile and web applications with java and javascript
* proficient in both spoken and written english (common european framework of reference c1)
preferred qualifications
* experience with at least one automated test framework like selenium or appium
* experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
* experience with typescript
