Production supervisor – casings your main responsibilities organizational management
* ensure compliance with the daily start- and end-of-shift meetings.
* ensure compliance with the daily short-cycle meeting.
* organize tasks efficiently with the available resources.
* ensure that your team complies with standards and take action to correct any deviation.
* ensure that your team has all the necessary tools for operators to perform their work.
* ensure that your team updates the system regarding overtime payments, absences, vacations, taxis, etc.
* ensure that all tools are marked and placed in their designated 5s location.
* ensure compliance with management and visual standards.
* ensure that all actions in the area have an owner and a closing date.
* compliance with kamishibai.
people development
* ensure that operators complete all mandatory training and required courses (onboarding, etc.).
* ensure your team does not allow collaborators to perform tasks they are not certified for.
* conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to your teams.
* know and properly apply the internal regulations manual / labor relations guidelines.
* be a role model for the high-performance culture (pillars and 7 habits).
* know and apply the narrative strategy (the what and the how), our values, and behaviors.
health & safety
* act as preventive lead in the workshop.
* be informed by team leaders and report any potential risk (unsafe acts and conditions).
* formally communicate any incident or accident to supervisors and the necessary personnel.
* conduct investigation and analysis of work-related accidents and incidents.
* perform risk assessments for workstations and the general area (review proper ergonomic setup).
* stop operations when deficiencies or risks affect the process or people's safety.
* ensure personnel have the required ppe, use it correctly, and keep it in good condition.
continuous improvement management
* ensure the implementation of standards defined by the production area.
* promote innovation ideas from your team.
who we are looking for education
high school diploma required; bachelor's degree or engineering preferred.
experience
(must meet at least one of the following):
* minimum 1.5 years in a similar role (supervisor, coordinator, or production lead).
* at least 2 years managing people and/or coordinating teams or projects.
* at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing industry.

* manufacturing processes (machining, casting, bending, welding, etc.)

* oee knowledge (efficiency measurement: machine & manpower)
