job responsibilities:
1. assume responsibilities and perform tasks assigned by your supervisor satisfactorily.
2. maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work area.
3. follow company work regulations and safety requirements.
4. participate actively in improving quality, safety, and environmental management systems in accordance with company policies.
5. coordinate, reserve, and schedule daily shipments based on customer priorities and requirements.
6. create daily picking lists for warehouse operations.
7. monitor and track delivery processes with logistics suppliers to ensure timely arrivals.
8. verify shipment identification and accuracy.
9. maintain constant communication with customer service.
10. program pickups and deliveries of shipments.
11. prepare and update logistics paperwork for export operations.
12. participate in support team meetings as required.
13. operate ethically at all times.
minimum qualifications:
* bachelor's degree related to logistics or a similar field.
* at least one year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or a related area.
* knowledge of import & export, customs procedures, and domestic & international freight in/out.
* familiarity with carta porte; knowledge of ctpat and oea is a plus.
* proficiency in microsoft excel and experience with computer-based inventory systems.
* strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach.
* commitment to ethical conduct and confidentiality.
