the baker hughes internship is designed to allow undergraduate and graduate students to gain practical work experience as a foundation for their professional lives. Our internships will give you firsthand insight into the processes, systems, and practices that are aligned to ensure customer needs are met through flawless execution and the application of cutting-edge technology.

. You will participate in focused training sessions and team meetings, work on projects, and present your results. During your internship, you will be supported by a peer and your manager, who will ensure you have a valuable learning experience. You can expect to receive coaching and mentorship that will enable you to complete tasks and projects to develop your learning and skills.

as an intern, you will be responsible for:
* collaborate in the evaluation and assessment of potential suppliers and vendors to ensure they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
* support the management of relationships with existing suppliers, including communication, performance evaluations, and problem resolution.
* assist in managing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock of critical materials and minimize excessive inventory costs.
* support in the creation, processing and tracking of purchase orders for materials and services.
* apply health, safety and environment (hs&e) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure continued compliance.
selection process
our program operates on a hiring cycle basis, and you will participate in the july cycle. Therefore, the selection process will take place between april and june.
after applying, the recruitment team will review resumes. If you are selected, you will proceed to a digital interview.
candidates who continue in the process will be invited to an interview with the hiring team.
finalists will receive an offer to join the program in the corresponding cycle.
work models
at baker hughes, we promote different work models depending on the role and location. For internships, we offer in-person and hybrid
models, focused on comprehensive development, networking, and close leadership mentorship. available schedules (monday to friday):
* full-time: 40 hrs
* part-time: 30 hrs

to succeed in this role, you will need to:
* be currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in engineering, technology, mechanics, another stem-related program, international business, finance, or a business-related program.
* speak english fluently, both orally and in writing, and have effective communication skills
* be able to relocate during the duration of your internship (locations vary)
* having the legal right to work within the country where marriage is being sought without sponsorship or time restrictions.
