is a global company with japanese roots which offers products and services to customers in more than 90 countries around the world. Gum, one of its oral care brands, offers a portfolio of solutions designed to accompany people through different life stages and oral health challenges

to join our passionate and dynamic global marketing team, we are currently looking for a

content strategist – global oral care

(freelancer / 12 months temp contract)

reporting to our global brand management director based in our swiss hq, the chosen candidate will focus on developing, executing and monitoring the performance of content marketing strategies for gum, a global oral care brand, with a strong emphasis on delivering personalised experiences that drive brand loyalty and market share growth.

the successful candidate will work with a hybrid flexible model, spending part of the week in our offices in
huixquilucan (mexico)
.

key responsibilities

our content strategist will have the following responsibilities, among others:

content strategy & collaboration

* content strategy development: lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive global content strategy that aligns with brand objectives, customer needs, and regional market demands
* content optimisation & leveraging: proactively identify, evaluate, and maximise existing content assets across all regional markets to determine their potential as global master content
* cross-regional collaboration: actively seek and nurture collaboration opportunities with regional teams to facilitate content co-creation initiatives

content production & management

* marketing technology integration: work closely with the digital and marketing automation teams to ensure content workflows are optimised and automated, delivering personalised content at scale across various channels
* global master content creation: develop and produce global multi-channel master content in english, ensuring it is scalable and adaptable for localisation by local markets
* content gap analysis: systematically identify content gaps across markets

performance & stakeholder management

* performance optimisation: utilise data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives, making adjustments and optimisations based on key performance indicators (kpis) to ensure content delivers real results.
* stakeholder collaboration & communication: partner with cross-functional teams (marketing, digital, creative, analytics) and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency across global initiatives

qualifications

* at least 5 years of experience in related position, preferably in the fmcg context within a multinational company, with proven deep expertise in content marketing and marketing automation.
* a proven track record of developing and executing data-driven content strategies that drive customer engagement and loyalty.
* a solid understanding of seo, answer engines optimisation (aeo), content performance metrics, and analytics tools to ensure continuous improvement.
* proven experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships, understanding varied business needs, and translating them into actionable content strategies
* excellent communication skills, with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality content.
* fluent in english (both writing and speaking)
. French, japanese or spanish a plus
* must be based in mexico with the ability to work a hybrid schedule, including regular office presence.
