Financial analyst - global fp&a (temporary position) page is loaded## financial analyst - global fp&a (temporary position)locations: office, mexico, d.f., mexico: remote - mexicotime type: full timeposted on: posted todayjob requisition id: r-*job location: mexicocalling all originals: at levi strauss & co., you can be yourself — and be part of something bigger.we're a company of people who like to forge our own path and leave the world better than we found it.who believe that what makes us different makes us stronger.so add your voice.make an impact.find your fit — and your future.we are seeking a highly skilled finance analyst to support our global fp&a team.in this role, you will help drive efforts in implementing a new global fp&a tool that will be used for financial planning and reporting.in addition, you will be supporting the fp&a month-end close and forecast processes to ensure financials are represented accurately.*about the job* assist with implementation of new financial planning and reporting tool: + assist collecting and reviewing system requirements for p&l and b/s planning + prepare summaries and overviews of global planning processes + assist in standardization of planning processes globally + assist with testing functionality of new fp&a tool* assist with monthly closing activities: + run and review currency restatements of global financials + prepare country level reconciliations between systems and identify any discrepancies + review monthly cost allocations + update various month-end reports + prepare entries for manual system adjustments* assist with planning cycles: + assist collecting inputs for forecasts + prepare the corporate forecast loads + prepare forecast cogs allocation loads + assist in running system forecast jobs + prepare forecast reconciliations and reports + prepare forecast tax file*about you*basic qualifications* education: bs/ba in accounting, finance or business administration* experience: 3 years of financial forecasting experience, experience with financial systems (preferably sap analytics cloud or hyperion essbase and sap/s4)*knowledge, skills, &abilities:* demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis and forecasting* ability to analyze and understand complex issues and see interconnections* strong conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills* strong organizational skills: high attention to detail, consistent follow through, own results and be part of the solution* strong ms office and excel skills* strong written and verbal communication skillsdepending on performance and business needs, there is a possibility of transitioning to an indefinite contract.this is a hybrid work schedule based in our polanco office in mexico city.we expect you in office 3 days per week, typically monday-thursday.note, time in office can vary depending on needs.levi strauss & co.
