Responsibilities
partner with business functions to identify high‑value decision problems where causal inference, what‑if analysis, optimization and quantum approaches can improve outcomes.
Translate business questions into testable hypotheses, causal frameworks and measurable use cases; deliver at least one meaningful prototype or analysis iteration every sprint.
Build production‑ready or near‑production prototypes quickly, ideally within 2–4 weeks for a first version, using sound statistical and engineering practices.
Connect externally to bring different perspectives. Engage partners, startups and academia to evaluate quantum and advanced analytics methods and turn the most promising ones into demonstrable prototypes.
Quantify impact, communicate trade‑offs clearly, and prioritize solutions that can scale and meet roi expectations.
Minimum qualifications
strong data science / ml foundation with python, statistical modeling, experimentation and applied analytics.
Causal inference, causal ai, quasi‑experimental methods and what‑if / scenario analysis.
Quantum computing fundamentals across annealing, quantum‑inspired optimization and gate‑based approaches.
Software engineering / mlops / devops and cloud platforms (azure, aws, gcp).
Nice to have
hands‑on experience with qiskit or comparable quantum sdks: quantum annealing and digital annealers for optimization use cases, gate‑based algorithm development and hybrid quantum‑classical workflows, optimization, operations research, simulation and decision intelligence, knowledge of algorithms such as qaoa, vqe or related quantum optimization methods.
Causal graph modeling, uplift modeling and treatment effect estimation.
Bayesian methods or probabilistic modeling.
Ai agents / genai for analyst productivity and decision‑support workflows.
Supply chain, manufacturing, pricing, revenue growth management or commercial analytics domain experience.
Experiment design, a/b testing and quasi‑experimental evaluation at scale.
Edge ai / efficient models for operational environments.
Ability to compare quantum approaches rigorously against classical baselines.
