Their flagship product is a fuel card accepted anywhere visa is accepted, providing the strongest discount network nationwide and designed for fleets of all sizes.
about the role
this is a dynamic business development representative / account executive hybrid position.
as an ae, you will be responsible for handling the sales cycle from cold to close.
you’ll be reaching out to trucking companies, understanding their fuel and payment needs, and guiding them through the approval and onboarding process. Once a customer is approved, you’ll support them through their first transaction to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
the sales cycle has recently expanded. Previously, the team focused primarily on securing completed applications for fuel cards. Now, once a customer is approved, the account executive continues to work closely with them until their first transaction is completed. This evolution makes the role more relationship-driven, with greater emphasis on post-approval engagement, onboarding, and activation.
key responsibilities
* conduct outbound prospecting and cold outreach to potential trucking and logistics customers.
* make approximately 125 calls per day to generate and qualify new business opportunities.
* identify potential customers, educate them about the fuel card program, and help guide them through the approval process.
* manage and follow up on leads to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and successful first transactions.
* build and maintain strong relationships with new customers to drive activation and retention.
* collaborate closely with internal sales and support teams to maintain strong customer relationships and improve conversion rates.
qualifications
* minimum 3 years of experience in outbound sales, bdr, or sdr roles.
* strong communication and interpersonal skills in english (verbal and written).
* experience working in high-volume sales environments with daily activity targets.
* understanding of or experience within the trucking, logistics, or fleet management industry is a plus.
* self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven attitude.
* base salary: up to $1,800 usd/month (based on experience and performance).
* salary increases eligibility after three consecutive months of hitting quota.
* unlimited paid time off (pto) and u.s. national holidays.
* fully remote position with growth opportunities within the sales team.
* commission structure:
* 5% once credit lines reach $50k.
* 7.5% on lines of $100k or more.
* typical total earnings range between $3,000 and $3,500/month, with top performers earning more.
