Qa engineer – virtusa
we are looking for an experienced qa engineer with 5-8 years of experience to evaluate and test software programs, ensuring they function according to user requirements and established guidelines. The role requires developing and executing automated tests, analyzing test results, and providing feedback to the development team. The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of software development and quality assurance methodologies and techniques.

Identify and select automation test cases
create an automation test plan and obtain approval
configure selenium test environment (ste) and participate in ide setup
automate framework design and implement it according to project structure
create, enhance, debug, and run test cases
collate and monitor defect management process
manage changes and execute regression tests
resolve object identity and error handling issues
interact with customers/clients to solve issues and update on status

nice to have:

experience with automation tools such as mabl or cypress
knowledge of ci/cd pipelines, jenkins, or teamcity
experience with non-functional testing (performance, security)
ability to establish qa processes and best practices for the product

specright is seeking a highly motivated and talented software development engineer in test (sdet) to join its qa team.
Responsibilities and duties:

find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution
interpret and report testing results and advocate quality at every development phase
communicate with stakeholders regarding testing progress, timelines and metrics
articulate risks, defects, and status to appropriate audiences
collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of projects
track defined metrics for continuous quality improvement
design and write test scenarios and test cases; update test cases based on specifications
review unit test cases with the development team
classify and analyze bugs using jira, bugzilla, mantis
write and execute test scripts using selenium; add api and ui automated tests (nice to have)

qualifications:

bachelor’s degree or equivalent work/project experience in software engineering
5+ years experience in unit, load, and regression testing
moderate knowledge of at least one programming language and its fundamentals
basic knowledge of apis
advanced knowledge of testing methods, bug reporting, api testing tools (postman, soapui)
critical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, collaboration, multitasking, object‑oriented design (ood)
