Dental sales role
as a dental sales representative, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with dental professionals to promote colgate oral care products and increase brand usage.
you will work in an assigned geographic territory, developing and supporting partnerships with various types of accounts including general dental and specialty practices, government accounts, private accounts, dental clinics, pharmacies, and dental distributors/deposits.
your main responsibilities will include:
* developing and maintaining relationships with target audiences to achieve business results in recommendations and sales.
* influencing dentists and their staff to actively recommend and purchase colgate products.
* applying the triple win methodology to effectively communicate products, technologies, and science to influence decision-making.
* exploring and using insights to better understand professional needs.
* developing deep knowledge about odontology.
* classifying, categorizing, and optimizing consulting offices in the specified territory.
* updating the crm database with relevant account information.
* developing and implementing specific strategies for contact with accounts based on pro2020 recommendations.
* implementing sales planning, marketing, and promotional activities to ensure product purchases.
* leveraging sales force distribution to maximize face-to-face contact with visited and unvisited accounts.
* working closely with distributors/deposits to ensure product orders are complete, correct, and delivered on time.
* understanding competing product weaknesses and ethically convincing and converting accounts to colgate technologies for better patient outcomes.
requirements and qualifications
* bachelor's degree in dentistry, administration, marketing, social communication, or related fields.
* at least 2 years of experience in similar positions.
* experience in oral health.
* excel proficiency.
* driver's license.
preferred qualifications
* presentation techniques.
* monitoring management of oral hygiene data.
* intermediate english.
* analytical and problem-solving skills, together with the ability to predict/respond to immediate professional situations in the external and internal oral care environment.
travel requirements
* up to 10% travel expected.
