We are seeking a skilled cloud solutions architect specializing in data orchestration to join our team.
this is an exciting opportunity for a professional with expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines and workflows using apache airflow hosted on the astronomer platform. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering innovative technical solutions that enable rapid development and optimization of data pipelines and orchestrations critical to our data ecosystem.
you will guide a small team of technologists, promote best practices, and ensure the seamless integration and scaling of our data workflows in a cloud-native environment. Your work will involve collaborating with domain teams to design, develop, and optimize data ingestion and extraction pipelines orchestrated by apache airflow.
key responsibilities include:
* designing, deploying, and maintaining data pipelines and workflows using apache airflow.
* developing reusable frameworks and tools for managing a large number of pipelines across the organization.
* providing reference implementations, including composable data pipelines, integrations with third-party solutions, and new airflow features.
* staying updated with the latest astro and apache airflow features to recommend impactful enhancements.
* building automation assets, best practices, and technical documentation to foster team efficiency.
* collaborating with domain and engineering teams to gather product feedback and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
* working closely with technology teams to maximize value from airflow and astronomer platform adoption.
requirements
to be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* proven experience with apache airflow in production environments, including designing, deploying, and maintaining workflows.
* experience on astronomer platform.
* strong proficiency in python programming.
* solid understanding of cloud-native data architecture and tools (e.g., data factory, synapse).
* demonstrated technical leadership in complex projects.
* excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* eagerness to learn new technologies and develop reference implementations.
