the operations director role plays a pivotal part in shaping our global operational strategy, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that enhance operational excellence and drive business success.
you'll be effective through these key responsibilities:
* establish manufacturing plans, infrastructure, maintenance, and operations to support business expansion and customer needs effectively.
* identify inefficiencies and optimize processes, systems, technologies, and workflows across the entire value chain to boost productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.
* develop technical capabilities that meet productivity and quality expectations for existing and future product roadmaps.
* maintain oversight of overall operations performance by site.

the skills you'll bring with you:
* bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business, or a related field.
* +10 or more years of strong progressive management experience in manufacturing operations and +5 or more years of direct factory management. Multiple site experience preferred.
* effective written and verbal communication and collaboration skills in an executive setting. Ability to establish rapport and credibility.
* excellent problem identification and resolution skills.
* ability to handle fast-paced and agile work environments. Ability to adapt to constant change and competing priorities.
* results-driven and deadline-oriented.
* experience with international work, factories, and teams.

* proven experience in training and utilizing value stream mapping and other lean tools to optimize processes and teams.
