Revenue director | park hyatt riviera maya

we are currently looking for a revenue director for park hyatt riviera maya (pre-opening).

this is a critical leadership role within a luxury environment, ideal for a strategic and commercially driven professional who can lead revenue strategy, drive performance, and shape the property's success from pre-opening through stabilization.

profile:

bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, tourism, or hospitality

postgraduate degree or certification in revenue management, finance, or marketing is highly desirable

experience:

5–8+ years of experience in revenue management within hotels, preferably luxury resorts or all-inclusive properties

previous experience in a leadership role (revenue manager / director level)

pre-opening experience is highly desirable

proven track record in driving revenue performance, forecasting, pricing, and demand optimization

technical skills:

advanced experience with rms tools (ideas, duetto, rainmaker) and pms/crs (opera, synxis, etc.)

strong knowledge of distribution channels (otas, direct, gds, wholesale)

expertise in market segmentation (leisure, fit, groups, corporate, mice, consortia)

advanced understanding of kpis: revpar, adr, goppar, occupancy, pick-up

strong data analysis capabilities (advanced excel, bi tools preferred)

fluent english required; additional languages are a plus

key competencies:

strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen

leadership and team management capabilities

ability to influence and align cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations)

strong communication and executive-level presentation skills

results-driven and highly adaptable in a dynamic, pre-opening environment

key responsibilities:

define and lead the overall revenue strategy aligned with brand positioning (luxury segment)

drive forecasting, budgeting, and long-term revenue planning

optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies to maximize profitability

lead and develop the revenue management function for the property

collaborate closely with sales & marketing to align commercial strategies and campaigns

monitor market trends, competitor performance, and demand drivers

play a key role in pre-opening strategy, system setup, and ramp-up execution
