What are the tasks that you will be doing?
* Coordinate and execute definitive import processes in compliance with Mexican custom regulations
* Ensure correct tariff classification of goods according to the TIGIE and international HS codes.
* Manage NOM compliance (labelling, certifications, and verification processes before EMA and customs).
* Prepare and validate customs documentation (pedimentos, invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin).
* Monitor changes in trade regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant with SAT, ANAM, and Secretaría de Economía.
* Coordinate with customs brokers and logistics providers to ensure timely clearance of shipments.
* Maintain import records and prepare reports for audits or internal reviews.
You need to know:
* Mexican Customs Law (Ley Aduanera) and General Foreign Trade Rules (RGCE).
* Expertise in NOMs applicable to imports (e.g., NOM-016-CRE-2016, NOM-208-SCFI-2007).
* Analytical skills for tariff classification.
* Communication and negotiation with customs brokers and authorities.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail.
