Overview
sap qm application engineer – astrazeneca. Location: guadalajara hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote). The role involves collaborating with a team of functional consultants on a large sap support and maintenance project spanning multiple sap landscapes across continents. responsibilities
* responsible for completing all tasks assigned by the team lead and project manager.
* responsible for reviewing solutions designed by team members and proposing improvements.
* responsible for proactively working with business users to identify and resolve recurring issues.
* owner of certain niche processes within the broader domain area, e.g., interfacing to 3rd party systems like gqclims, sap global batch traceability, 3pl, etc.
mandatory requirements
* 3+ years of experience with in-depth functional understanding for qm and expert knowledge in configuration and maintenance of sap systems.
* experience in ecc and s4 systems.
* ability to understand business requirements from business users and prepare and review functional specifications.
* good understanding of integration of sap modules in end-to-end business processes.
* ability to work in large and diverse teams.
* should be aware of release governance processes and have experience working with incident management tools.
desirable requirements
* functional understanding of pm and/or pp configuration and maintenance of sap.
* good understanding of business processes in the life sciences/pharmaceutical domain.
* exposure to highly customized sap environments and interfaces with non-sap systems.
* understanding of itil processes and application lifecycle management.
* exposure to run sap (solution manager) methodologies.
* good understanding of gxp and sox requirements; working experience in a validated environment.
* experience with various estimation techniques.
