the ideal candidate will have experience in plastic part design, cad modeling, and working within automotive industry standards to deliver high-quality, manufacturable interior solutions.
design and develop interior components such as: create / update 3d models and 2d drawings using cad software ensure designs meet: functional requirements safety regulations cost and manufacturability targets perform tolerance analysis (gd&t) and stack-up studies collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, manufacturing, suppliers) support prototype builds and testing activities participate in design reviews and implement feedback release engineering documentation (boms, drawings, specifications) work with suppliers on tooling, materials, and production feasibility
