Job description:
this role involves serving as the primary point of contact for customers, focusing on engagement and brand promotion rather than sales commissions. The position requires a strong technical background to work effectively with design engineers proficient in electrical or mechanical engineering.
main responsibilities:
* follow up on new leads and referrals.
* identify and resolve client issues.
* prepare quotes taking into account margins, shipping costs, and other factors.
* develop presentations, proposals, and sales contracts.
* produce status reports, covering activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
* collaborate with vendors to provide customer solutions, including product and logistics support.
* translate customer needs to vendors.
* present technical information to customers professionally.
* evaluate and approve specifications and samples.
* answer phones in english.
key qualifications:
* a college degree in engineering or business, along with an interest in/knowledge of electronics.
* advanced english writing and speaking skills, with spanish language proficiency (mainly working in english).
* 2-4 years of experience.
* familiarity with common office software, including word, excel, powerpoint, outlook, etc., and erp systems.
* ability to create written materials, develop presentations, and explain complex material.
* strong interpersonal and communication skills.
