job description
this role is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment, water systems, and physical plants to ensure patient safety and staff operating efficiency.
key responsibilities
* conduct regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities on water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, ancillary equipment, test equipment, and the physical plant as required by manufacturers and company policies.
* coschedule and complete repair and maintenance of physical plant with approved vendors.
* maintain all ancillary devices in compliance with manufacturer recommendations and company policies.
* identify and resolve equipment problems using acquired knowledge of company machinery, equipment, and systems.
* purchase and maintain service parts inventory using approved sources and ensure timely return of rga and warranty parts.
* collect and process water/dialysate samples and review quality results per applicable policies.
* document daily, weekly, monthly repair and maintenance activity/repairs per applicable policies.
* oversee project tracking/documentation systems as assigned.
regulatory compliance
* analyze data for cqi/qai process, lead technical discussion, report outcomes, create improvement plans.
* collaborate with facility staff to meet regulatory and osha requirements.
* review water system documentation for compliance.
* perform trend analysis on the water system, anticipate actions to assure system functions as designed.
* escalate instances where company policy and procedures are not met.
supply inventory management
* manage medical supply inventory by managing par values, ensuring program has correct inventory to support patient treatments.
