What will you do?
the lean manufacturing & jcms leader will be responsible for advancing lean practices within assigned regions, focusing on cultural integration and continuous improvement. You will develop and implement strategies, training, and advocacy initiatives aimed at transforming the organization’s operational and business metrics performance. This role encompasses oversight for multiple plant sites, impacting significant conversion costs and operational performance. You will ensure alignment across processes, measurements, and standards while fostering a positive organizational culture and developing a diverse talent pipeline prepared for future leadership roles.
how will you do it?
* collaborate with the regional lean director to create and deploy short-term and long-term lean strategies across factories.
* ensure consistent execution of the lean deployment plan, including hoshin planning and kpi management, to achieve predictable business results.
* drive high-quality continuous improvement plans tied to value stream maps and ensure necessary kpi scorecards are maintained.
* lead training and execution of lean activities, instilling a culture that embraces lean principles and methodologies.
* engage stakeholders to address off-standard issues and support recovery plans, promoting gemba walks to enhance team performance.
* support lean change agents with improvement methodologies for successful project completion and facilitate training through lean academies.
* identify waste and improvement opportunities, reporting on successes to the business.
* align jcms lean plans with global initiatives, contributing to the broader jcms roadmap.
what are we looking for?
* university degree in engineering, business management, or related field.
* at least 10 years of manufacturing experience, with 5 years in leadership roles.
* experience with lean manufacturing tools and world-class manufacturing systems (e.g., jcms, tps).
* strong strategic and leadership capabilities, with a track record of driving cultural change and operational excellence.
* effective communication skills and ability to influence at all organizational levels.
* certification in lean methodologies (e.g., green belt) preferred.
