to be recognized as a global payments solutions (gps) specialist with an ability to display competent knowledge of relevant products and services with the jobholder's area of responsibility. To act as a lead sales representative on opportunities with key clients and/or deals. Consistently role model the sales manager competencies, providing guidance and coaching to other sales managers and team members where necessary. To achieve income for the group by originating leads, building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in order to identify and sell innovative cash and clearing management solutions to a sector.
Responsibilities

ensure the execution of commercial activity
build close relationships with global teams, strengthening lam´s name in the region
manage and lead business activity for the commercial team
proactively identify sales opportunities and develop these opportunities
support distribution channel business development strategies
manage costs within plan and to keep losses to a minimum
generate referrals for other global business
undertake sector/portfolio planning and client monitoring/contact
execute a robust sales plan to target key customers including effective closure of pipeline deals to capture revenue
build and maintain close relationships with clients. Act on feedback from market surveys, client engagement programs
broaden and deepen client relationships
support plans and strategies to generate new business, as well as increasing revenue for existing ones, in order to achieve asset growth, sales or revenue targets
maintain close liaison with key stakeholders to provide input into the strategic direction of the business, the functionality and launch of new products and services
maintain close liaison with intra‑country, intra‑region and cross‑regional colleagues/stakeholders to provide input into the strategic direction of sales, product and client management functions and to the overall direction of global payments solutions (gps) regional and global business
collaborate with internal stakeholders, which may include relationship managers and product specialists, to maximize cross‑selling opportunities for the bank
assist in establishing new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers
assist in the communication of new products, propositions, and relevant market information to customers
work in partnership with colleagues across the hsbc network to deliver exceptional standards and quality of service
ensure fairness in all aspects of strategy, product design & delivery, customer literature & correspondence, financial promotions, administration, and complaint handling
participate in internal and external business events, road shows and seminars as required by the business

requirements

fluent english
advanced excel proficiency to analyze large database and delivery actionable insights
strong database skills to extract, manipulate, identify opportunities, translate into strategies, and action plans
excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
excellent time management, planning, and organization skills
excellent range of communication skills, including written, verbal, and the ability to deliver compelling presentations
strong analytical and selling skills
a good understanding of the market & market trends, competitive environment, and regulatory environment
proven ability in identifying and meeting customer needs through matching a broad range of products and services

Li-hybrid team overview - business development manager
as a business development manager, you will lead and empower a team of business developer hunters to boost courier acquisition through offline channels. You’ll design and execute offline neighborhood and city-specific strategies to efficiently grow our delivery capacity.
This role combines strategic vision with hands‑on execution: designing the systems needed for the offline acquisition channel, activating local partnerships, motivating and holding your team accountable for results and leading by example. Fintech business development senior analyst - didi global inc.
We’re looking for a talent working as the financial institution business development senior analyst (fibd senior analyst) to identify and build partnership with financial institutions, in order to build up a solid cash loan and credit card infrastructure in mexico for didi’s fintech business. You will manage the local and regional core relationship of various financial partners strategically important to didi's fintech business in mexico, such as card schemes, credit information companies, risk and data vendors etc.
You will have the opportunity to shape and deliver the channel partner strategies of didi’s global fintech fibd team, and play a vital role to grow didi's fintech business in mexico, together with global colleagues, especially from mexico and china.
Role responsibilities

exploring and managing key partnerships with credit business vendors in mexico, including card schemes, credit bureaus, risk and data vendors etc.
Realizing didi's rapid‑developing cash loan and credit card business strategies in mexico, by mapping and optimizing offerings from various partners
handling business negotiation with fi partners, especially in commercial proposal and contract negotiation phases, to achieve business and risk management requirements
optimizing cost structures, and exploring innovative business opportunities with fi partners, to achieve a win‑win situation for didi and partners
closely working with various internal teams globally, including business operations, risk management, legal, product, tech etc., and facilitate in solving problems with external partners
keeping on the market trends in credit infrastructure of mexico and latin america, and share with didi fintech's global teams, to ensure the state‑of‑art credit business infrastructure to be up‑to‑date

role qualifications

bachelor's degree; background from distinguished universities or master's degree is a plus
strong ownership in deal execution and responsiveness, with a sharp project delivery mind
1–3 years of experience in mexico credit industry, including cash loan and credit card business, or have some understanding of the mexico credit industry; previous experiences in credit risk management or infrastructure partnership management are plus
understanding the mexico credit business industry, including the landscapes of vendors, credit risk management, data compliance etc.; having strong connections with major players in the industry is preferred
strong in business communications and commercial sense, to both external business partners and internal global teams
capable of working flexible hours across time zones, especially for mexico and china
ability to work proactively and innovative mind, with minimal guidance and high uncertainty
native in spanish and fluent in english (both verbal and written) is a must; capable to speak mandarin chinese is not mandatory but a plus
