Sales manager (latam)
rjg, inc., a leader in injection molding technology and training, is searching for a sales manager at our chihuahua, mexico location. The sales manager will be responsible for the management and profitability of rjg's latin american entity. They will mentor employees responsible for targeting existing and new customers to create and grow business opportunities through rjg's consulting, training, and technology services. They will collaborate with rjg's management team in the implementation of strategic plans, the achievement of financial objectives, the recruitment, training and development of employees, as well as the preservation of a strong collective culture in line with rjg's core values.

* build relationships, identify strategic long‐term clients, develop attractive and profitable and value‐added business solutions, and lead teams to secure substantial and repeatable orders.
* create, actively manage, and report out plans to reach specific sales objectives, profitable growth, and market share improvement.
* establish and utilize a data‐driven forecasting process that ensures delivery of revenue plan.
* establish and manage leading and lagging objectives and key results that align to delivering company strategy and current business.
* establish and maintain a consistent, effective sales operating cadence to ensure focus on delivering orders performance.
* develop and maintain effective and efficient sales processes including territory management, goal/quota management, account management, opportunity pursuit, and sales operations.
* understand customer, market, and competitor trends to identify opportunities and mitigate downside to achieve revenue targets.
* use 80/20 principles to prioritize customers, products, activities, and resources.
* create demand for strategic offerings to our target customers by deploying value‐add sales resources that utilize industry expertise to identify, quantify, and solve customer problems.
* draw on regional resources to meet the needs of clients.
* prepare contract proposals and specifications, negotiate and conclude contracts.
* host virtual and in‐person meetings and presentations with clients.
* attend trade shows, product trials, and demonstrations with other smart team members.
* report on experiences in the provision of rjg products and/or services with the aim of converting activities into rjg business uses or tools in the context of subsequent interactions with customers.
* attend internal product and sales meetings to maintain sales balance between smart initiatives and the sales organization.
* use the zoho project to manage deadlines, deliverables, and customer‐related tasks.
* record all customer communications in zoho crm for other team members to see.
* track revenue, sales prospects, and projects using zoho crm.
* maintain accurate client and project records within zoho crm, including contact information, communications, project documents, proposals, purchase orders, and more.
strategic leadership
* develop and align multi‐year strategic plans and annual tactical strategic plans that contribute to achieving the company's overall objectives.
* implement lean procedures and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, schedules, and work plans in order to optimize the performance and efficiency of activities.
* provide leadership and direction for the execution of short‐ and long‐term strategic plans.
* ensure rjg is professionally and responsibly represented in the injection molding industry, and that our organization meets the expected level of service, responsiveness, and quality requirements of our key customers.
* improve existing internal processes and create new processes as needed to maximize the efficiency of the team, and the efficiency of cross‐functional collaboration.
* assess, identify, and obtain needed resources to meet project and customer requirements.
* develop budgets following the direction of management and monitor and maintain the results of the office in accordance with the budget (including turnover, employee training, acquisition of fixed assets, and future staffing needs).
* estimate revenue and identify business objectives for latin america. Understand, plan, and monitor the profitability of projects.
* prepare, accept, and monitor the implementation of the annual budget to ensure that objectives are met, the flow of revenue is optimized, and fixed costs are limited.
* monitor and evaluate technical, administrative, and financial performance and report monthly to management.
* control and manage cash flows to meet financial plans and ensure sound financial control of the entity (cost control activities, monitoring of income and expenditure, efficient and efficient use of funds, equipment, facilities, and time in accordance with the budget).
* assume responsibility for signing bank accounts and business agreements.
* approve purchase requisitions.
