Make your mark for patients ucb is seeking to hire an exceptional business excellence & operations head mexico defines and drives the affiliate’s integrated operational strategy to ensure seamless, efficient, and compliant execution across medical operations, omnichannel stakeholder experience, sustainability and communications, facilities & fleet, special projects, and front desk & events. The role sets the vision for operational governance, digital maturity, customer‑centric service delivery, and organizational readiness, while embedding esg principles and strengthening ucb mexico’s external reputation through strategic sustainability and communication leadership. Acting as a strategic orchestrator, the position designs processes, capabilities, and ways of working that enable performance, innovation, compliance, and scalable growth. Ensure strong collaboration and integrated execution to deliver strategic projects, capability‑building agendas, and operational optimization across the affiliate. This leader partners closely with medical, commercial, enabling functions, and regional/global teams to accelerate transformation and deliver differentiated value for patients and stakeholders. All activities must adhere to ucb policies, sops, quality standards, and local regulations. Major accountabilities leadership & people management build, coach, mentor, and evaluate a high‑performing business excellence & operations team. Set clear priorities, kpis, and operating standards aligned to country and regional strategy. Medical operations oversight provide strategic oversight of medical operations to ensure scientific quality, process integrity, and compliant execution of hcp/hco interactions, medical information, psps and transparency support strategic medical planning and coordination across therapeutic areas. Oversee alignment with global medical governance, sops, and regulatory requirements. Omnichannel & digital transformation oversight set the long‑term vision for how we use digital and omnichannel tools in mexico, making sure we’re moving toward a more modern, connected, and digitally confident organization. Enable a customer‑centric mindset and integrated experience across functions and therapeutic areas. Guide the hub so it becomes a reliable, high‑impact partner that delivers smart, easy‑to‑use digital solutions for teams across the affiliate. Sustainability, external communication & reputation management shape the affiliate’s long‑term sustainability and external communication strategy, ensuring all operations reflect ucb’s environmental, social, and governance commitments while meeting evolving stakeholder expectations. Lead high‑impact sustainability initiatives—including environmental footprint reduction, resource efficiency, and community engagement programs—and embed responsible practices into business operations and decision‑making. Special projects management provide leadership and governance over the affiliate’s strategic projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise‑level priorities and transformation goals. Guarantee disciplined execution and successful delivery of the affiliate’s priority strategic projects. Facilities, fleet & workplace operations oversight set the long‑term workplace and facilities vision, ensuring resilience, continuity, and a modern, efficient environment that enables teams to perform at their best and supports the affiliate’s strategic priorities. Lead the fleet strategy for mexico, shaping vendor partnerships, lifecycle planning, and risk‑mitigation models that optimize cost, safety, compliance, and employee experience. Front desk & events ensure high-quality front desk operations delivering professional visitor and employee experience. Oversee event governance for strategic corporate events, ensuring compliance with ucb and local regulatory norms. Cross‑functional engagement & business partnership act as the business excellence & operations strategic integrator across medical, commercial, patient value units, regulatory, compliance, and enabling teams. Ensure operational readiness for launches, transformations, and country initiatives requirements. Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, project management, or a related role, preferably within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare sector. At least two years of experience in senior leadership or executive-level roles proven experience leading teams and managing cross-functional projects. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills strong background in process optimization, governance, simplification, and building resilient operating models. Comfortable leading transformation, building momentum, shifting behaviors, and strengthening an agile, collaborative, future‑focused culture.
