role overview
we are seeking an experienced senior auditor – licensing & compliance to lead audit engagements and deliver high-quality compliance insights for our clients. This is a senior individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities, but you will mentor junior auditors and review their work. The ideal candidate has 5–6+ years of audit experience and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, global environment.
key responsibilities
* review and analyze licensing agreements, contracts, and large datasets
* assess compliance and identify potential financial recovery opportunities
advanced data analysis & testing
* design and execute audit test plans
* analyze client datasets and identify anomalies or discrepancies
* quantify compliance gaps with minimal supervision
client-facing reporting & insights
* prepare clear and structured audit reports
* communicate findings, root causes, and recommendations to stakeholders
* provide insights to strengthen contract governance and compliance
cross-functional & global collaboration
* work closely with internal teams and global stakeholders
* share progress, risks, and insights to ensure timely audit delivery
process improvement & knowledge sharing
* improve audit methodologies, templates, and internal processes
* support internal initiatives including training and documentation
* mentor and guide junior auditors
requirements
qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
* 5–6+ years of audit or compliance experience
* professional certifications (cpa, cia, cisa, acca) are a plus
technical skills
* advanced microsoft excel
* experience with data analysis tools (power bi or similar) language
core competence
* strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* ability to identify patterns, risks, and inconsistencies in large datasets
* excellent communication and stakeholder management
* detail-oriented with strong report writing abilities
* ability to mentor and support junior team members
