As an internal sap pp consultant in our l2 support team, your primary purpose is to provide expert-level support and resolution for sap production planning (pp) module-related inquiries. You will collaborate with internal customers both nationally and internationally, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment. Your role involves analyzing incidents, creating solution concepts, and implementing customized solutions within the sap ecosystem.
key roles & responsibilities
* manage day-to-day workload activities from various sources, including incidents, requests, and project tasks, ensuring outcomes and results are achieved through collaboration with internal and external it colleagues and business users.
* independently handle and resolve inquiries from global users related to the sap pp module and ‘order to cash’ (otc) process.
* analyze customer requirements and incident reports; configure and customize sap pp solutions based on business needs, engaging with process owners, key users, and end users.
* collaborate with other it teams to ensure seamless support and alignment of responsibilities.
* stay updated on solution directions by borgwarner architecture and design teams; advise customers accordingly.
* document and test processes and functionalities.
* identify and implement best practices to maximize customer value.
* translate non-technical requirements into technical business requirements.
required skills
* bachelor’s degree in business informatics, computer science, or a related field with a strong erp background.
* minimum of 6 years of experience in the responsibilities described, preferably within the automotive industry.
* strong knowledge of configuration and customization of the ‘order to cash’ process with a focus on sap production planning (pp).
* experience working in an sap support role, with excellent communication skills for global/regional it teams and internal customers and suppliers.
* ability to prioritize multiple tasks, work under tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* results-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* ability to work effectively in a multinational team.
