tasks and qualifications
this is what you will do:
* review requirements and collaborate with solution consultants on solution design.
* communicate technological differentiators to clients and support presentations.
* ensure accurate representation of solutions in proposal documents.
* lead and develop 3d models, concepts, and layouts (maestro) and proposal drawings.
* understand customer rfps, specifications, and requirements thoroughly.
* proficient in controls, electrical, or mechanical fields, applying knowledge to projects.
* create material lists and estimate costs for materials and mechatronics engineering.
* submit quote requests to purchasing and evaluate vendor quotes.
* develop cost breakouts and rom costing as needed.
* participate in technical and price review meetings.
* support tools and standard work updates, following company and project procedures.
* occasional travel may be required for system commissioning and acceptance.
what we are looking for:
* bs/ba in a related discipline; advanced degrees or certifications may be required.
* basic professional principles and skills.
* knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures in the relevant area.
* proficiency in microsoft office suite and autocad.
* 3-8 years of relevant experience demonstrating key responsibilities and knowledge.
