about the role
we are looking for quality manager whose main objective is to ensure compliance with the iso 9001 standard, as well as customer-specific requirements, across all manufacturing processes at robertshaw. Optimize the use of assigned resources to ensure product quality and promote continuous improvement activities, always aiming to achieve both external and internal customer satisfaction.
responsibilities
* supervise and train personnel under their responsibility, ensuring clear communication of the objectives to be achieved in the performance of their duties.
* plan the necessary activities to meet product quality requirements as defined in customer designs and specifications.
* manage the control of the company’s measuring, inspection, and testing equipment.
* represent the plant management in matters related to product quality.
* represent the company in quality-related matters with customers.
* develop indicators and analyze quality levels in processes to implement corrective and improvement actions.
* participate in and promote the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for nonconformities related to product, process, and system quality requirements, as well as customer complaints.
* generate ideas that foster innovation and continuous improvement in activities affecting product quality.
* implement and oversee continuous improvement tools such as six sigma and lean manufacturing.
* lead quality problem analysis and resolution using masp methodology.
* monitor area kpis: customer ppms, internal ppms, cost of poor-quality corrective actions on time and iso 9001 certification.
