the ats mx transportation operation management (tom) team is looking for an area manager with a strong delivery record, a proven ability to drive process improvement, people‑management experience, and the ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on‑time‑driven environment.
key job responsibilities
* drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring a safe work environment for amazon and non‑amazon workers.
* audit and ensure compliance to all standard work and environmental regulations.
* meet the otp/otd target per shift.
* own area performance metrics and communicate them to the tom manager and site leadership.

basic qualifications
* work a rotating, flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays.
* be able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
* have 1+ year(s) of experience directly managing others.
* bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, supply chain/logistics, or a related field.
preferred qualifications
* experience using strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
