We are seeking a techno-functional business analyst with strong analytical, technical, and agile delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business and technology teams, lead agile ceremonies as a scrum master, and work hands-on with power bi, sql/databases, and data analysis to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
responsibilities
business analysis & stakeholder management
* gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
* conduct workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
* translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
* collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and solution clarity.
scrum master / agile delivery
* lead agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and reviews.
* maintain sprint velocity, burndown charts, and team kpis.
* remove impediments and ensure smooth delivery execution.
* promote agile best practices and coach teams on scrum methodologies.
technical / data responsibilities
* develop dashboards, visualizations, and reports using power bi.
* perform data modeling, dax calculations, and kpi development.
* write and optimize sql queries to extract and validate data.
* support integration, uat testing, data validation, and production rollout.
* work closely with data engineers and developers to ensure quality and accuracy of data solutions.
documentation & support
* create brds, frds, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.
* support change management, training, and post-implementation activities.
* assist with root cause analysis and provide production support when required.
required qualifications
* 4–8 years of experience as a techno-functional business analyst.
* 2+ years of experience as a scrum master leading agile teams.
* strong hands-on experience with power bi (dax, data modeling, dashboards).
* solid sql and database understanding (queries, joins, stored procedures, data validation).
* experience working with cross-functional teams in agile environments.
* strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
nice-to-have skills
* scrum master certification (csm, psm).
* experience with azure, aws, or cloud-based data platforms.
* exposure to etl/elt, data pipelines, or bi tools.
* experience with project management tools (jira, azure devops, trello).
* knowledge of apis, integration flows, or basic scripting.
