this is an exciting role with global scope, supporting business units in developing and executing sourcing strategies in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization.
the sourcing analyst will be tasked with supporting category management, sourcing projects, and market intelligence.
the activities include data analytics, rfx data management, and supplier management and development.

the sourcing analyst will play a significant role in managing category and providing project support and will act as a resource to mine and analyze data across multiple systems and utilize standardized tools such as ms excel and power bi to synthesize information into actionable opportunities.
this position will interact with the supply chain directors, supply chain management, suppliers and opcos.

- responsible for supporting the category manager on commercial activities, including leading these activities with designated suppliers:
- coordinate rfq's and conduct comprehensive analysis of supplier quotations
- assist in the supplier identification, quoting process, negotiations, and supplier selection on sourcing projects
- identify, resolve, or escalates supply risks with a sense of urgency to ensure business requirements are met
- coordinate supplier performance reviews
- contract management
- vendor and part data management
- manage and control shipping methods with logistic partners.
- evaluate and analyze scale economics and global market conditions to understand trends for decision making.
- support the category management and sourcing project:
- productivity - develop productivity pipeline and maintain the tracking sheet
- working capital improvements: payment terms extensions, lead time & inventory reductions
- search for any value-added value engineering opportunity while running the rfq process for potential cost savings.
- strong ms excel and power bi skills (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data visualization) for analytics of data in support of sourcing decision making, pricing reviews, and dashboard building
- soft skills: interpersonal skills & resilience

- bachelor's degree (b.s.)
in supply chain / engineering / business
- 2-4 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or related business fields
- strong analytical skills, excellent working knowledge of microsoft excel and power bi
- must be proactive in work assignments and thrive successfully in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
