role:
* plan and process the purchasing of materials, purchase order generation, track the delivery of new part numbers to assure receipt in accordance with production program requirements from approved requisitions. Assure that problems relating to delivery, pricing and invoicing are promptly conveyed to supplier and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortage.
what you will do:
* plan the purchasing of assigned direct material and issue orders specifying all terms and conditions.
* track the delivery of all items and keep order dates accurate in the system to react to past due supply chain orders.
* place purchase orders and expedite delivery of materials to assure receipt in accordance with production program requirements form approved requisitions.
* maintain purchasing and planning erp order parameters.
* establish professional relationships with suppliers and work closely with them to ensure good communication and up-to-date data alignment regarding moq’s and lead times for assigned materials.
* schedule agreements execution and data governance maintenance.
* assure that problems relating to delivery, pricing and invoicing are promptly conveyed to the vendor and resolved in a timely manner per standard procedures to avoid material shortages.
* price discrepancy grief resolution.
* monitor inventory levels, consumption, and shortages; take corrective actions as needed
* follow up on supplier commitments, lead times, and shipment status
degree requirement
* bachelor’s degree in international business, industrial engineering, business administration or any related degree, or soon to graduate
* intermediate-advanced english-speaking level is required.
skills you will have

* ability to leverage data-driven decision-making by collecting and analyzing information to support organizational choices that align with strategic goals, using appropriate tools and techniques.
* proficient in intermediate to advanced microsoft office for data analysis and reporting.
analytical thinking
* skilled in developing long-term procurement strategies and resolving sourcing issues through root cause analysis and effective solutions.
* background in supply chain with basic knowledge of purchasing and/or procurement processes.
effective communications
* strong communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholders; adept at building and maintaining collaborative relationships.
procurement
* knowledge of buying and procurement; ability to work with organizational strategies and purchasing practices and use basic sap/erp for material purchasing and transactional activities.
top candidates will have
* proficiency with erp/mrp systems (sap at an intermediate to advanced level preferred)
* strong skills in microsoft office, especially excel and power bi
* ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
* advanced english proficiency
additional information
* the location for this position is santa catarina. Required to work 5 days on-site.
* this position will not require travel.
* relocation is not available.
* work schedule: 7am - 4pm
