Logistics coordination (on site - guadalajara)

Descripción

Responsible for servicing external and internal customer needs and proactively participating in the operation process.

* bs in business management, international trade and/or process engineering or similar, or equivalent years of experience.
* 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
* responsible under general supervision.
* relies on senior colleagues to provide accurate solutions for issues.

key activities and responsibilities


outbound order receipt / inbound purchase write-up & processing

* receive and process orders/purchase write-up.
* follow up with internal or external customers to clarify orders/purchase write-up if needed.
* communicate orders internally according to the established process.
* assure ownership of operational costs.
* validate quality assurance approval of vendor/item and certification link.


logistics (outbound)

* responsible for tracking and order distribution.
* facilitate product releases and pick-ups with 3rd party warehouses as needed.
* arrange domestic truck freight with our carrier partners.
* prepare appropriate documentation for customers.
* verify and track orders and shipments.
* ensure all processes and procedures follow established guidelines.
* manage relationships with warehouses.
* in case of inventory discrepancies, coordinate with team members and departments to resolve issues.
* perform additional duties as assigned.


sales support

* support account managers / traders with specific accounts.
* understand products/commodities to answer customer/trader inquiries.
* communicate issues/challenges to the trade team.
* support sr. Trader, sales executives, and account specialists in gaining and retaining customers/vendors, including logging information into crm.
* create new customer/supplier relations in the system.

knowledge required

* experience in import/export, customer service, and local logistics preferred.
* proficiency in ms office.
* knowledge of contact management systems, database software, inventory software, and order processing systems preferred.
* ability to work well under ambiguous situations and deadline pressures.
* strong time management skills.
* willingness to learn.
* record-keeping, tracking shipments, and data analysis skills.
* high initiative/proactivity.
* attention to detail.
* strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* customer service mindset.
* excellent verbal and written english communication skills.

hiring details

1. benefits above legal requirements (vacation, bonus, vouchers, savings fund, health insurance, annual bonus, parking, pto, etc.).
2. monday to friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm (daylight saving time).
3. after one year, 1 day of wfh.
4. indefinite contract after training period.
