About the company
wasion energy is committed to delivering innovative solutions in the energy sector, focusing on sustainability and efficiency. Our mission is to provide high-quality products and services that meet the evolving needs of our clients while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
about the role
as a structural engineer at wasion energy, you'll act as a key technical link for our data center container projects in north america. Our containers are fully structurally designed in china; your focus will be on supporting north american project sites during delivery, on-site assembly, and post-delivery after-sales. You'll resolve structural challenges (e.g., modular alignment, load-bearing verification) during installation, troubleshoot post-delivery issues (wear, vibration, environmental impacts), and align with local standards (aisc, ibc) to ensure reliability—while sharing on-site feedback to refine domestic designs.
responsibilities
* support north american data center container projects: assist with on-site structural installation coordination, verifying component alignment, load-bearing assembly, and compliance with local safety requirements.
* handle post-delivery structural after-sales: troubleshoot issues (e.g., structural wear, vibration-related concerns) and deliver timely technical solutions to maintain client satisfaction.
* collaborate across teams: coordinate with domestic design teams, north american construction partners, and clients to share on-site feedback and align with local structural standards.
* maintain technical documentation: assist in updating structural maintenance guides, inspection records, and issue-resolution reports for north american projects.
* refine container designs: provide on-site structural insights to the domestic team to optimize future container structural solutions for the north american market.
qualifications
* education & major: bachelor's degree or above in structural engineering, civil engineering, or related fields.
* work experience: 3+ years of structural design or technical support experience; experience with modular containers, data centers, or north american infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
required skills
* proficiency in structural design software (autocad, pkpm, or etabs) and ability to interpret structural drawings.
* familiarity with north american structural standards (aisc, ibc) and modular container assembly processes.
* ability to troubleshoot on-site structural issues and communicate solutions clearly.
preferred skills
* strong cross-regional communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with domestic and north american stakeholders.
* willingness to travel to north american project sites as needed.
* proactive attitude toward learning and adapting to local market requirements.
